The new Rockers are in and we also have new design pocket T-shirts for sale. The new memorial patch will also be available at the meeting. The set of 2 rockers are $15 and the memorial patch is $5. The T-shirts are $20 We are now selling our newly designed window stickers. These will stick to any smooth surface and there are several different designs. Get yours now. We have been collecting dues for several months now but, I have to mention again that there are still several members that haven’t paid their dues from last year. I’m hoping that it’s just an oversight and your check is in the mail. For all of you that paid your dues, thank you. For all of you that haven’t and you know who you are, please pay as soon as possible to continue supporting the Best Club in Local #3. Dues are still a low, low $30.00. For those who chose to drop their membership, please let me know so I can remove you from the mailing list. If our records show you are in arrears for 2 years you will be dropped automatically and asked to return your club patch. Please don’t let this happen to you! Remember the Scholarship Fund. Several members are going to Myrtle Beach Bike Week again this year. Rooms are still available. We are also looking into another NASCAR weekend either at Watkins Glen, Dover Deleware or Pa. More information as it becomes available. Dear Brothers, SATURDAY, MAY 10th 2008 First, we will be helping out at the Queens Area Special Olympics again this year. This is a mandatory assignment for all members. So be there for at least a couple of hours. The set up takes place at 7:30 AM. This is when we need the most people. There is a new location this year. It will be held at Victory Field in Forest Park. Victory Field is located on Woodhaven Blvd and Myrtle Avenue, Queens. Take the LIE to Woodhaven Blvd and go south to Myrtle Ave. Field on left. Take the Grand Central Parkway to the Jackie Robertson Parkway. Exit at Metropolitan Ave and bear left onto Union Tpk. Continue to Woodhaven Blvd and turn left. Go south to Myrtle Ave. The field is on the left. SSP to Crossbay Blvd. North to Park Lane South. Field on right at the next light. Please make every effort to give up some of your time to make this day special for the athletes. TUESDAY, MAY 13th 2008 Our next regular club meting will be held at the Clubhouse located at 67-30 164th Street Flushing, NY The meeting will start at 5:30 PM. Refreshments will be served so as usual come early for the best selection. New Member T shirts and long sleeved support shirts are available and will be for sale at the meeting. Dues are due for the 2008-riding season. The Dues remain at a low $30 so be prepared to pay. There are several runs scheduled for the upcoming season.
